I'm sure it will be fun. I only tried one cast load in mine - Lyman 225438 GC and 10 grains of 4227. It looked worthy of more experimentation.

Is the trigger a single set its abit hard to see if the adjustment screw is there or not. Nice looking rifle and it should shoot cast bullets very well.

single trigger. The load data that came with the gun Says barrel was a 1-14 Beuhmiller.
Bore is mint and throat looks perfect but its pretty long.Im thinking ig might work with my Eagan 62g tapered bullet breech seated.

I once owned a high wall in .30 wasp. It was fine shooting jacketed, but I  never figured it out with cast. Hope you do much better with that beauty you have.

CBA, which of the 3 or 4 versions of the Wasp do you have? Mine is the last - long body, long neck.

My friend competed with the 30 Wasp in the CBA in a big Hall action. He was competitive for quite a while but the 30BR kind of took over and people were figuring other things out and he dropped out when he no longer was winning.

CBA, the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook that has the Sharps on the cover - don't know the year or edition but I bought it new in 1963 - has loads for the Wasp. The "Wildcats" are after the normal rifles. If you don't have that one and are interested I could post a pic of the loads for you.

And it has the nifty fold out photo of cartridges and cast bullets for each. I framed mine years ago to hang in the shop.
