Thanks JMH...just got it a couple weeks ago and have about 75 rounds through her...including my first ever (after 46 years a handloader) Paper Patched Black Powder load.

This is a new discipline for me and looking forward to learning.

Cast some Lyman 457125 tonight and have them cooling in a pan of SPG.  Have some slicks that I will patch up as well.

What a fun rifle to shoot.  So satisfying to hit the 200 yard gong with the "old tech".

Very nice rifle! I owned one in a Creedmoor configuration similar to yours for a few years but sold it unfired. ... I still regret that.

be hard for me to give up those double set triggers. very nice rifle, I got a new slick for my 44's today. have FUN. Bring it down To Big Piney  Club at Houston Mo. on the 22 of Sept for a gong shoot. 48 shot match.
