I was reloading some rounds of 32-40 and thought of checking my supply of primers. I like to use Fed 150's. I have some on hand but I thought I would order some more as I shoot about 180 every month.
BOY was I shocked while searching the net! Just about everyone is out of stock of every brand and size. After about an hour I found some Remington 9 1/2's at  Bruno Shooters Supply. Ordered 5000 so that should last me a few weeks. LOL
Have the Dems taken over already???

Yup!  pre-socialist/anti-gun take over of the country so shooters are stocking up.  Happens every 4 years.   Powder will go the same way pretty soon too.

There seems to be a shortage of many things affiliated with shooting. I have been looking for CCI quiet 22lr ammo for months, all of the suppliers are out.

Last year I took stock of the powder, primers and lead needed for 10 more years (I'll be 82 then) and ordered the lot, now residing comfortably in my gun room closet.  No worries, mate....

Thanks for Bruno's info.  I just ordered 5000.  Over $58 for shipping and hazmat, but at least they had stock.

I'm good for now. I'll wait until the hysteria is over. Bruno's got my primers but not my powder. Don't want to pay hazmat twice.

I just checked and they had 8 lbs 300-MP powder in stock so I had them add it to my order under the same hazmat fee.

Now I need to go to the scrapyard and get some more lead flashing and order some more tin.  That should last me long enough to give up shooting and take up base jumping  Cheesy Grin

I scoured for Quiet for two days a couple of weeks ago.  Since I very strongly prefer it for porch pests, (it doesn't alarm the household pets), I swallowed hard and paid a scalpers' price for 5 boxes.  Silly me, I hadn't kept track of my inventory until it was too late.   Embarrassed

I really like using Quiet for backyard offhand practice.  I too am running very low.  I may have to drag my offhand 22 Stevens 44 to the range instead.  For some reason I shoot Quiet at 60 yards quite a bit better than any ammo at 100 yds.  Hear that Schuetzenmeister?  Maybe change the distance at the Tacoma match!!!

Jack.

How about shooting everything at 25 like the black plastic crowd?  WE're all too old to walk to 200 anyway  Cheesy

For years, I would only use Federal Gold Medal Match primers. Then “ooh the they’re gonna take our guns”  administration took over and GMM primer evaporated, so I bought  something else and liked them. Went to buy some the other day and the only thing they had were  GMM. Apparently, now “we must tariff every foreign thing” is in control.  I agree with Pentz. stockpile. There is always a boogie man.  And the shop was out of .22 ammo.  Crazy world we live in.

Told a SS shooter friend I had enough tin to last me the rest of my life. He asked if I would sell some to him. I told him I have enough to last me the rest of my life. He said, "oh".

Yeah no kidding. And it's funny how the crowds into that stuff pours all this money into those things shoot once every  6 months and then really fast at 25 yards.
