	August 2020 GRRC Schuetzen Match Report Dear Shooters, As we all know 2020 has been quite the year. With the onset of the Covid19 virus pandemic earlier this year it resulted in the cancellation of not only our June match but also a many matches throughout the area. In discussing holding our August match with Gerald we insisted upon safety by requiring social distancing and using masks within close proximity. I must say that I am pleased to say everyone was cooperative in this regard and for that I thank you. Frankly, I do not see much change on the horizon any time soon regarding the pandemic as I expect it will be with us next season. Hopefully, I am wrong on that point. As you know our match program changed as we reduced the number of firing points on the 200-yard line to 8 and the number of shots from 40 to 20 per match, the .22 100 yard bench rest match being the exception. I think this worked out quite well. In all likelihood we will probably maintain this going into next year. For 2021, we may be seeing some significant changes as to what we have done thus far. Changes being discussed are the scheduling of matches to be shot during specific relays, the relays would be timed. All matches may be 20 shots per match. We may be adding a 200-yard offhand iron sight match, a 50-yard .22 benchrest match, and also a 50-yard .22 offhand match. 	Nice turn out and nice shooting! It sure is nice to see the matches back to now being shot after having the Covid issues shut many of them down for this year.

	Bruce, As n.r. said, I’ll be back! I may even shoot two rifles instead of just one. I like the change to 20-rounds. Makes you concentrate more knowing you only have two targets to do well. I hope to try the NOE bullets you gave me this coming Monday....thanks! Tom A.
