If you are using a funnel that small, you could open the mouth up and a primer will fall through. Still fit into a .32-40 case mouth. How does it get in there to begin? I'm not able to figure this.

The funnel is screwed right next to the side of my belding and mull  measure. when I meter  the charge in the tube  I put the case under it and throw it directly in. Even though I de Prime below bench level I think a primer once in awhile gets a little "energetic" and ends up in the funnel.

Well, just make the hole bigger than a primer and they'll go on through. Must be on helluva decapper to toss 'em up there. Good luck.
