	Nice, Can appreciate a classic target bolt gun I had a Westly Richards single shot M98 built for target shooting a few years ago (Old time local gun dealer where I live was their agent and had them made up for the local shooters).

	I still enjoy bolt actions having allot of charm and Joe's falls right into that catigory. It's a very beautiful and unique rifle and one could only imagine just how well it actually shoots.

	I have the same rifle in 308 but I'm missing the sights and bolt. I bought the rifle for $200.00 thinking I'd find a bolt some day. So far no joy.

	Original sight is missing off mine also. Instead an Australian Central sight is taking it's place. Thinking the original sight and bolt are like finding hens teeth. Or finding Fantic 301 forks. Is your barrel Shultz and Larsen? The stamp on mine is on the bottom of the barrel. My rifle has a Kenyon trigger.

	Hey Joe, Those central sights are highly regarded. I got one for free in a box of other sights that had no base. Bill Ellingson wanted it and I gave him a deal at $70. Jack

	Left hand 1/3 minute clicks. Highly regarded by who? Oh, oh yeah, Canadians, Australians and Cheap Americans. Yeah, good sight, you get a lot for your buck. And mountable on just about anything you can drill a couple holes in. Lots of them on Canadian LR BP rifles back in the eighties. Still have one on my Ruger #4. I'd like to have the original factory sight for the G&E. Seen pictures of them. Hi Jack!

	Just remembered. I shot a guy in the hand with that G&E rifle at Wenatchee in the nineties. Ron Herms was pulling targets and had his hand up on the bottom of the target frame. Not realizing my sight setting was at 200 yards, shot low and splattered the steel frame next to Ron's hand. Shrapnel went though and he was bleeding perty good. Wes was the lowest dirty dog on the range there for a while until Ron told us where his hand was. The good ole days.
