	Just got his one at auction for a good price. New"er" Douglas barrel in 38-55, refitted by Lander in New Hampshire. The guys at Doublegun don't seem to think much of him, but we'll see. Wish it was still original, but it should be a fun shooter. I have a nice Junior Targetspot for it, but might go with a Lischert. Aaron

	I like it. The black leaf relief style engraving looks European. Looks like they used the military type buttplate, and made a new forearm to fit the rebarrel. If I owned it I'd get a steel forearm tip from Numrich and reshape and fit it to the forearm wood.

I like it too. Rough but very stylish. Similar to the fancy RB on the ASSRA home page. That nob on the receiver ring must be rare. Better leave it there.

Aaron I actually like the full round heavy barrel simply because you don't see this often on Rolling Block Sporting Rifles. I built up a Rolling Block in .40-65 using an original Sporting Rifle action, and a 32" GM full round barrel. One of my favorites simply because of the heavy full round barrel.

	Hi Rebel, I was bidding on that rifle as well but I had to make a choice between several rifles. You got a very nice rifle and you'll be very pleased with the way it shoots. Ed Lander doesn't live to far from me and is now retired. well in his 90's and a WW-II vet and a very interesting fellow. But in the day, he did very good work. Steve
