Very nice! Did you mean Lysle Klibourn?

Can you post a pic of his Name stamp. I have a Win54 in K-Hornet that I suspect Kilbourn himself did but need a stamp to compare.

I have dies, forming dies, brass, and ammo. Trigger is heavy but breaks clean.

250 NK? 250 Niedner Krag? A variation of the 25 Niedner Krag? Or is it a 219 Zipper Imp? I'm confused. Not an uncommon experience for me.

Maybe a chamber cast is in order.

Would "28 degrees" be the shoulder angle?

Interesting start to a good thread. If for no other reason than the professional look of the stamp, I am hoping the stamp shown below is one of Lysle Kilbourns. This is on my 1933 Win54 in what was then a 22Hornet. I have been searching for years for provenance to tie it to an original conversion of Kilbourn.

MoodyHoller,
Any evidence of a barrel liner if you look real close with a loupe? I think most of CC Johnsons barrels were lined. He believed a lined barrel to be more accurate. That almost has to be a CC Johnson barrel and arguably one of the best money could buy at that time.
