Does anyone know what this sight is called, my stevens is missing the sight, I have the block where the sight slips into but am going to try and find a sight for it. The pic is not of my rifle.

Stroebels book "Old Gunsights, A Collectors Guid, 1850-1965" shows a Stevens on page 39 with such as sight. It is described as the Lyman no 52 Extension sight with the code 52 L for Stevens Walnut Hill Target Rifles.

These were a common sight upgrade on Model 52 Winchesters.
You might try Rimfire Central

Most interesting. Those do show up on that auction website on occasion.
Do you find that it interfers with loading/unloading and cocking the hammer?
Went with a tang sight for my Model 44.

Also, that's an interesting lever. Can you post a pic which shows the complete lever?
