	Help shooting low wall Winchester 25 20 ss first shot always high or low about 3 in. at 30 yards then all rest touching each other it's shooting great the first shoot ????? any help or advice would be great THANKS Max

	My rifle requires five or more shots before it will really settle down. With alot of time and effort if you are breech seating your bullets you can adjust your seating depth to get that first shot to start forming the group.

	Those sighter shots can settle down the rifle, AND settle down the shooter and the wind calling, too...; beltfed/arnie

	It's been quite a few years back now when I wrote an article that was published in the ASSRA Journal on how to adjust a breech seater to start forming the group with the very first shot.

	I always put at least two in the backer before I move to a target when I start. When we come back at the start of a new relay I put one in the backer and then move back to the target. 40 Rod

	Thanks all i'm not a target shooter just off my deck 'ive have hunted for 65 years never had rifle that 3 in off first shot??? Max (hornet) i kill critters off my garden with 22 or hornet

	when firing from a clean/cold barrel ,I fire one or two or as needed for the particular rifle into the backstop, then proceed to sighter, then record. If I am sighting in for hunting, I fire one from cold/clean barrel and adjust to impact hole. let barrel cool to normal and repeat. that first shot from cold/clean barrel is what is needed for hunting.

	I have been using Montana Extreem bore conditioner following cleaning..barely damp patch thru. 1st. shot goes into or very close to following shots.
