I finally yielded to temptation and ordered a Harrell's Schuetzen powder measure and, while I was on a roll, I picked up another mold for my 25-20 SS. I was looking for something just a little bit heavier than my Lyman 257420 and managed to find a Lyman 257463 which is a Loverin design. Now I can tweak the heck out of my loads for it.

For the last 10 years or so I’ve had a custom25-20 SS low wall on the back burner. I believe I may have found a round tuit, at least it appears that the stars are beginning to show some signs of alignment (how’s that for a mixed metaphor?) and it may finally get it shooting this Winter.  Anyway, I’ve got an old Perfection mould simply labeled “25-20” that appears to be the same as the 25720.  I think I’ll try that out in the 90 grain size as well as the ubiquitous 257283.
