Another tang sight ID ...?

This one is in an upcoming auction.  Any thoughts from our resident experts as to who might have made it or what it will fit at this hole spacing (2.150")?  Here is the description:

"UNKNOWN VINTAGE PEEP SIGHT , UNMARKED. APPROX. 2 3/4" HEIGHT, 2.150 HOLE SPACING, MICROMETER ADJUST, 0 TO 5 GRADUATIONS, LIGHTLY PITTED"

Looks like either a WRA 38A or 38B tang sight... depending on the particular angle that exists between the base and staff when the staff is rotated to the shooting position.

In the end it sold for $180 Canadian plus auction house fees and shipping.  (I didn't buy it ...)
