Malcolm rifle scope

Was asking around some friends trying to locate a rear mount for the Malcolm rifle scope I got at our August gun show here. A friend said he thought he had a mount, but it was attached to a similar scope. Turned out to be another Malcolm telescope, but in nice enough condition I couldn't steal the mount off it for the first one!
So now I've got a good complete Wm. Malcolm scope, but still need a similar mount for the first one! I hope I don't end up buying more Malcolm scopes, and still not getting a mount for the first one!!

First one is made for a Stevens or Wesson wire framed pistol. Front mount fits over the barrel, and rear is just the block now, as it needs the base with elevation and windage.

Second is a dovetail mount front and rear.

It has this base, which would also work for the first one:

If I was skilled like a few of our talented members, I"d copy this base! Sad

The Malcolm #1 scope I have has the rear mount that fits dovetail scope mounting blocks. Sorry but I don't have one for sale.

Very cool Joe! It appears yours is a bit newer version than mine maybe? The elevation adjustment knob looks to be the later style.

Val,
All it takes is time and perseverance, YOU are capable of making these because you know what they are suppose to look like, AND you have a pattern to go of off - you just need to hone your skills  Wink

At first it looks complicated but there are a number of parts that fit together to make the whole assembly.  Give it a try!  David
