How to lap push-thru die to larger diameter?

Suggestions please.
I have a push-through bullet sizing die that is .3215 diameter, see illustration below. My issue is, I have a mold that casts bullets at .323 on the rear two bearing bands. I want to size them to .322.
I do not have a machine shop or access to one. Would someone care to recommend a method to lap out my die to .322? Oh, by the way, I would really like to keep the hole round.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Don't do it! I need a die that size! Is that a standard size Lee die?

This is a custom made die for a particular purpose. I no longer need a .3215 die but I do need a push through die that is .322.
To be perfectly honest, I did not think about Lee. I'll see if they make the size I need or if I can order a custom size.

Randy. Lee will make you a custom sizing die for very reasonable price. OR use a smooth metal rod with 600 grit wet/dry  wrapped and taped around rod to just fit thru die and roll back and forth on your leg or tape a towel to table and do that. I have opened up A couple dies like that.Works very well. Finish with 1500 grit to polish....Pete

Randy,
Another alternative is the push thru size die tool set from NOE:  Base set is 39.95.
BUT, bushings, including the .322 you want are only 9.75.
And you can get lots of different size body as well as nose sizing dies to work with this set.

If you can use my .3215 push-through die, trade me for a .322 diameter and we are good-to-go. I have a second custom made push-through die that's .3210 which is too small for using with this rifle.

I have had Lee make me several custom diameter push-through dies in the past. They do an excellent job and the diameters I ordered were dead-nuts on for meeting my specifications. Just trying to shortcut that 6 week wait.
Your idea about polishing it out with a rod and fine wet/dry may be doable. Thanks for that tip.

I looked on the NOE website and their push-through dies with interchangeable dies would certainly be a workable solution. I'm definitely considering them for my .322 die. I looks like they have all the parts in stock so that makes them an attractive candidate. Thank you for pointing me in the direction of NOE.

This bullet will be pan lubed, sized and shot in my .32-40 BR rifle breech seated. I'm after a bullet that will be .001 to .002 over groove diameter and I'll be testing the as cast bullet at .323 against the same bullet sized .322 and see which produces the best accuracy.

Interestingly I recently ordered a custom Lee .322" die to size down bullets with a .323" base band. Smiley

The die came out to be the correct size but is very rough inside.  It's going to have to be polished anyway, so maybe enlarging your die is the way to go.

Thanks again for the tip about wrapping wet/dry around a rod and lapping out that die. I had .321 and .3215 push-through dies. Lapped out the .321 to .322 so now I can try bullets as-cast at .323 then size base band to .322 plus .3215 and see which size produces the best accuracy.
By the way, lapping out a hole from .321 to .322 takes a L-O-N-G time. I did manage to keep it round so all is good in the end.
