I make mine from Star-line 38-55 . Short 2.080 will stretch to around 2.110 and 2.120 stretched to around 2.165. The key word is reliable. It would be nice to have proper headstamped but I don't see that happening in the near future.

The only "dependable" source of .32-40 brass of which I'm aware is StarLine. Get their long .38-55 brass, anneal it, full length size (in short steps), then trim to fit your chamber. I've been making and shooting them for some years now with perfect success.

You boys might be interested to learn that a shipment of 10,000 Winchester produced .32/40 WCF cases landed out here in Oz a couple of weeks back. It's been about 10 yrs since we saw the last batch. I managed to snag 400 and that should keep me going for quite awhile Wink. Stocks were already down to 3,200 when I put in my order so there must be still be a few fans of the .32/40 here.

Graf and Sons has it in stock $34 per 50. Mine measured 2.123 long. Winchester brand.
