It must have followed me home......

I surely didn't buy this.  Actually it was just about what I went to the Oregon Arms Collectors show in Portland to find.  I wanted a cheap High Wall action to use for my barrel threading practice.  Among the $2500+ collectables at the show was this sad looking guy,  I call him Rusty.  The price was right considering the tang sight (a Lyman 1a for a Marlin 39A) ans the nice wood.  Eventually I may file and sand it down and make a shooter of it but it will server my purpose well for now.

Good to see you at the show Jack! And the High Wall was an excellent buy! Nice to know there's bargains like that still around, even at a show with lots of high end guns!

Good to see you again Vall. I should be back down for the single shots show next year.  My goal this trip was to find an affordable High Wall action and I did.  Maybe a Ballard next  Grin

No guns followed me home Jack. But a old Wm. Malcolm telescope did find it's way into my box before I left.

Wow, nice find.
How long is it?
3/4 or 5/8 tube?
