Shooters kit

I traded for a Ballard today because of what came with it.  I need help identifying the powder measure. I can't find any markings.  It is very well made and works different from any other I've seen. The adjustable drum rotates sideways instead of towards you. It has fine threads for a a hopper or a powder can. If someone has a complete one or can provide any information I would appreciate it.

Nice items! The tools and accessories are very cool indeed!
Never seen a powder measure like it, and it may be a one of a kind some gunsmith or advanced hobbyist made for himself. It's a really great item though!

It's made for a 38-55 case as well.  A 32-40 won't fit over the end of it.

In the box was a receipt of $1.20 for his dues paid to the club from 1929 as well as 2 prize cards for offhand shooting dated July 4, 1929.  This would be the annual King shoot and general membership meeting.  The New Braunfels Schuetzen Verein would have been celebrating it's 80th anniversary that day

From those score Tickets this guy was a Shooter. Not much out of the 20 ring and most better. Would have been fun shooting with him. FITZ

That's pretty neat items too! I love all the little bits of provenance associated with it!

I feel fortunate to own this simple kit with all the history to our club tied to it.  The receipt and prize cards were used 90 years ago this past July 4 th King shoot.

I'm really hoping someone can identify the powder measure.  I can make a powder resevoir and a lever to operate it but I want it to look like back in the day. HELP!

neat measure. It looks kinda like a German powder measure. Maybe you could try looking for German schuetzen information.
Maybe the guys at the German Gun Collectors site could help.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.  I posted this on the doublegunshop forum and the info got to Tom Rowe.  Tom was kind enough to call me and told me a complete measure is in his book " Alte Scheibenwaffen vol. 3" page 286 and is called system Mikromass.
It will be after the 1st of the year before I have time to get this in working order.
