An internet publishing site (prairierosepublications.blogspot.com) has an excerpt from Gail Jenner's The History of My Valley, which features our first photo of Meek (but reversed, unless the man was left-handed).  It's grainier but somehow clearer when blown up; and while the rolling block does indeed appear to have double-sets, what I'd like to be the rear trigger seems too close to the back of the trigger guard.  Maybe Vall or another specialist will take a look and give his opinion.

You are right Bill.  The photo is reversed.  The pin retaining plate is on the right side of the action in the photo ... nice catch.  I expanded the photo and I believe I see two triggers. 

C.D. Ladd would be my guess because of the shape of the triggerguard. Carlos Gove would be another possibility but I don’t see any other typical Gove modifications.
