wow Beltfed
no one can argue over the groups you shot, especially the pp one! Sure is alot of exposed lube on a few of them, could be a magnet for the Montana prairie when she blows!
best

KW,
Indeed, the exposed lube grooves could be an issue in
a windstorm.
Your looking at the 40-82 Silhouette would mitigate that
problem and allow all or most ggs in the case neck --
along with my "40-65 level" powder charges.
And, I would certainly agree with your thought of going with a 14 twist barrel.
Oh, my charge under the 371 gr DDEPP bullet is 74.5gr
Swiss 1.5 for actual 1402fps over my Oehler.
Really flat shooting and can run with the 45s.
FWIW,
I have moved to the DDEPP(DualDiameterEllipticalPaperPatch)  bullets for the 40-65
and the 40-72 /12 twist.

I drop tubed 1 1/2 Swiss into a 40-82 case to within .40" of the top. It held 67 grains non compressed with no wad on top. The 40-70 in a Krag case was about the same. In a 405 Hornady case it came up about 1/8" higher.

Deadeye,
My load for the 40-72W with paper patch bullet is
85 grains of my old lot of Swiss 1.5., 24" helical drop tube; comes within about 0.060" of the fire formed 405w Hornady  brass case mouth.
I compress with 0.060" LDPE wad to about 0.125" from mouth for my 448gr DDEPP bullet.
