New for me a Model 15 with lots of "Battle Scars" but the bore looks great! I have never shot with Iron Sights but so far it is a fun rifle to shoot!

I have one rechambered to .22 Hornet with the breech block bushed and a small diameter firing pin fitted.
The only knock on this model of which I am aware
is that the rear peep may wear and become a bit loose on the dovetail on the receiver over time, although absent pressure on the sight from mishandling, you’d have to do a lot of adjusting for that to happen.
My only complaint with mine is that no one ever seems to have produced a cover for the dovetail when the rear sight is removed and a scope installed. Ideally, I’d prefer to protect that area when the rear sight is off the rifle, as mine is.
Enjoy the rifle.
