	I am hoping that someone will add the history of these little brass and copper tokens. 	I believe some of these tokens were won at club matches. Since shooters might not be "money" or professional shooters, they could win club tokens and not be paid in money for match wins.

	I was given some from Denver by John Dutcher years ago, and if I remember, John told me that they were re-entry tokens, but don't quote me on that. I will ask John the next time I speak with him.

Bill Lawrence As there is today, amateurs aren't amateurs once they're paid money for competing in a sport. The difference between amateurs and professionals has always been whether they compete for cash awards, or for trophies, medals, etc. It wasn't any different back then. Any amateur could compete against professionals. But once you do, you're no longer an amateur, whether you win or not.

	Wait a minute. Cash money prizes were common in the old days and today. No organization says you are professional or amateur shooter. An amateur usually buys the beer after the match if he wins. Chuck
