I have the no.1 anniversary model in 45-70 and need to find mounts for the scope. Are the no.1 mountsthe same height? That is a nice looking one as everybody can see. It seems to me that the no.1 and the 45-70 caliber go together. I’m going to try some 500and 600 yd practice when I get mine going. Your wood is looking mighty fine,I wish mine looked half as good.

The scope rings are Burris medium Zee rings and the bases are Burris, Ruger to Weaver offset bases. They are the same height. Rings came from Midway and the bases came from ebay.
