With the exception of a few sprinkles, the threat of rain and soaked targets didn't materialize.  Conditions were dark with some wind on
the first relay.  Iron Sight bench on the second relay started out great – for the first 10 minutes – then the wind did a 180 and though we
waited....and waited, never came back. Our scores certainly reflected it!  Oh well, the range was covered with wild flowers, and Spring
     has definitely arrived!

Do you get any freaky winds shooting over or between the boulders?

Yes, things get pretty interesting at times. They're at the 100 yard line so they can have a significant influence on the bullet with the right (wrong) wind.

The frames weren't up when I took the picture. You can see the 200 yard berm beyond the boulders. We have 4" pipe sunk in the ground to accept our frames made out of 2x4s. The frames are kept in a small, locked shed when not in use by us.

Jerry, I didn't notice the backstop until you mentioned it.  Have you shot 250s up there?

Yes, six so far. The rest of them were shot at Modesto Rifle Club.

I believe all but one have been shot with his 25WCF and the first one with his 33-47 at our MRC Club Range the best that I can now recall.
