German Stalking rifle I.D.?

I am looking to I.D. this break action rifle, cal 8.15x46R
Has proofs on barrel:  "crown N Nitro"
proofs on action right side just behind end of barrel:
crown B, crown G, Crown N
Excellent bore. looks like reblued., but action locks up tight,
triggers and automatic safety work fine.
Thanks

It was nitro proofed for a 170 grain plain lead bullet in July of 1935, but I'd say it is probably an 8x48R Sauer. (7.7 over 48) There are no markings on the rib of the barrel? Slick little rifle. Is it just the photo angle or is that a really long barrel?

Thanks, Oneatatime, for helping me with the markings for the proof date, etc.
The barrel measures just a tad under 26".
And, please look at the bottom barrel flat pic again.
I will swear that the ctg length is 46, not 48. Note the curl on the top of the 6 in "46". Not closed like an "8"

Also, I presume the "7.7mm" is the bore diameter, not the lands.
I have also done a Cerrosafe chamber/bore casting.
  Groove dia is 0.316".
case length, base dia,etc.
Dimensions fit the 8.15x46R per "COW"
the chamber also has a very long tapered freebore  from the very slight case stop to the beginning of the rifling"leade"

Yes, the bore. It would be correct for either the 8.15x46 or the 8x48. It is probably a 46 just looked like a 48 in the pic.
I found a similar rifle in a 1924 catalog. I believe these would generally be called "Guild" rifles. Made in various shops and sold to retailers who would finish them and usually mark their names- or not! The freebore might allow for stop ring bullets.

Oh, and No markings on the top flat of the barrel.
It does have a two leaf sight.

Yes, Oneatatime, Thanks even more.
That's it , even to the diagonal  extractor at  +- 4:00.
Noted, I see, its called a  "Simplex" action...,
of course, some differences. Instead of a "hemi" profile
stock mortice this one I have has a more or less rounded
rectangular stock mortice.

Wrong,
I was looking at the hemi "proud" profile of the stock
opposite the "rounded rectangular stock mortice which is
the same as mine.

Heres mine. Does use stop-ring bullets and is close to my shcuetzen rifle in accuracy.

Ok, the thread is just a tad older than 4 years......

Anyway, I am following an auction for a Roux Stalking rifle in 8x48R Sauer. Anyone loading this cartridge? What brass are you using?

Proofed in July 1933, other than that I don’t know much about kipplauf rifles.
