my favorite single shot rifle ever (before I acquired my Ballard and My Hepburn, but that's another story...
) was the Winchester 1885, and esthetically speaking, the Low Wall.
Here are the three that stayed with me so far:

32-20, 30" barrel, set triger
.22LR, 24" round barrel
32 Long RF, 26" barrel

I liked the look of it on the rifle.

i have acquired the necessary "turned brass" .22 primed modern brass for the 32 Long, but have not tried it yet. The rifle is the best preserved one, with quite a lot of original finish.
The two others are "shooters", rasonnably accurate for the 32-20, load tests pending, a bit of a rough bore on the .22LR makes it a plinking gun (relining would be my option, but tinkering with guns has been outlawed in France last year, so getting parts is near impossible, and talking about it on forums would be stupid
)
