Custom t/c encore

I need help again valuing a single shot....
T/c from the estate of a gunsmith in Pennsylvania, Our local California Waterfowl Association bought/got donated an estate with this gun and we are trying to sell it...
Custom stocks sets, but not checkered. 4 barrels and forends w/ leupoldscopes of various dates of manufacture (lower end)
.22lr,.284 win, .3338/06, 20 ga rifled slugs.
The action is engraved.
Was the engraving a factory custom shop option or was it truly custom.

What do you the a fair price to sell it for.  We are looking for a fast sell.
Should we break up the set?
Here is a link to the pictures...I don’t do photobucket anymore
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)
I have more pictures .  All forends are similar wood

Thanks
Jerry

A used TC with a barrel, and low end scope sells for around $500 here. Add $100-$200 for the wood. Barrels will interchange easily with any other TC of the same model. So, selling them separately may be a good thing, as I may want 1 but not all of the others. I'd figure them at $250. Can't tell you about the engraving.

One can't even get a good quality barrel blank alone delivered for $250.00 and then there is all of the other peripheral work on top of it before one can even use it?  But if I were wanting someone to just gift it to me I too might also feel the same.

Have bought and sold several, Old Soldiers estimate is right on.

Breaking up the set will bring more, action is the only thing that needs FFL, rest can go to EBay. Count on roughly 30 % selling expenses if eBay. If the yield is subject to scrutiny by others pure auction is the only way to go.

Quick sale selling  everything to a single person, no selling expense, ought to be cheaper by far. And whoever sells will be subject to criticism by others in the association.  Everybody is a expert and they all have opinions.

I think the ebay fees add up to about 13%. At least that's what my friend Rich$ tells me.

Apologies on the 30 %.  Just paid a consignment dealer 30 % on a Shotgun he sold for me and had it on my mind.  eBay has several charges listing per piece, percentage, extra for BOLD, and  and charges for those Nusance emails they send for something you browsed did not add to your wish list. Then PayPal charges about 3 %.  Lathe chuck I just sold went into a flat rate box I bought some expensive stealing tape due to weight

It’s not hard to spend 25 % selling on eBay consignment FFL dealers even more.
