Dave Yep those are the ones. The Cyclone is a case mouth peening machine. That Thumblers works quite well. I follow the instructions that Dave sends with the thing and it works quite well. I run the cases for 3-3.5 hours. Whatever you do, do not buy the Cyclone Chris.

	I checked over my 38/55 cases that were tumbled (Frankford Arsenal/SSpins) with magnification and yes there is maybe a microscopic very uniform peen edge but ever so slight. two seconds with a chamfer tool which I would do anyway and it is gone. Starline brass if someone was wondering. So I don't have a "cyclone" problem which is good of course. thanks for all the input

	also (i forgot to mention) all the brass I have ever done with the tumbler/ss pins method I have never seen brass shavings of any kind when a batch is finished. small pistol, large pistol, revolver, small bottleneck, large bottleneck....all clean including primer pockets with no problems. Once you have the right set of screen sifters and a routine you can't beat it. You need to invest in a dryer too

	air dry left a lot of spots and "tarnished" areas for me and my taste.

	For what it's worth, I've been air drying my BP cases for years and am quite happy with it. I have a couple of drying racks that hold the cases upside down to help the water drain out and speed the drying process. Chris.

	I rinse my cases in hot soapy water (Dawn dish soap) to get most of the BP residue out. Then I put them in my Frankford arsenal tumbler with stainless steel pins, some Dawn dish soap, and some Lemi-Shine. Let it tumble for about 2 hrs. They come out like brand new and I have found no evidence of peening; primer pockets are clean too. I air dry them by laying them on a towel and haven't seen any tarnish. I think the Lemi-Shine reduces that. I used the stuff Frankford Arsenal recommended for cleaning solution and it left a sticky goopy residue all over my cases. I had to clean them all over again.

	Capt Curl, I have available my Delrin wiping/cleaning rods along with my "Flex Jag Adaptors" that facilitate wiping and cleaning your Martinis, TDs, etc From The Breech end. beltfed/arnie

Blew them off and out with compressed air and let them finish themselves.

	Geeze! I just put my well scrubbed BP cases in kitchen oven at 200F for a couple of hours. No moisture left, not even in primers that were removed later. Never, ever put them in any kind of tumbler -- just gets tumbler media stuck in a bunch of flash holes and/or primer pockets. Never liked bright shiny brass -- old indian hunters always said shiny brass spooked the animals, made them move. I already missed too many when they were not moving.
