And a sad but true reminder that today is the nearly forgotten 100th anniversary of the armistice that didn't End All Wars.  Four of my uncles were in it.  And while their time was shorter than many if not most who served in later wars, the physical and emotional impact of that very new and very terrible type of fighting was immense.

God bless all who serve and our immeasurable thanks to them.

This is my Uncle Frank C. Makosky who was truck driver in France during "The Great War." They signed the armistice November 11th and at 11:00 AM war stopped, and luckily he came home;

A very special day indeed and why we remain to be a free people. We need to make it even more special and to treat them with the upmost respect and the best medical services this countey has to provide and I thank them dearly.
