If you mean RWS brass, I don't have any, but I measured some DWM and it measured .008 to .009 at the neck.

I use both RWS brass and some made from 30-30. measuring wall thickness with a Vernier is not exactly super accurate, but it makes a good gauge and I can confirm that they are the same.

Thanks Fred. Have a oversize neck chamber,if I had .010 brass it would help .Am leaving more brass up the case into the lead to get a smaller dia to hold bullet. Pete

Is it chambered for a stop ring bullet? That excess space could be for the stop ring and the clearance in the neck could be to allow the stop ring bullet to just slip in. Also, I measured the necks on some made from old WW 32 Win brass and they were more like .006.

With a .008 neck neck thickness, fireformed in chamber,A 323 bullet swims around, would take a .325! With the bore at .318 thats quite A difference. By going out A little longer on the case can get it to just slip fit a .320 bullet, more to my liking. Will be testing fixed, with stop ring bullet, and breech seating. There could be 1/4" of dead air space with breech.More later.Thankyou,Pete.
