Probably for the Rolling Block Kits they made in 444 and 45/70.  Bore sometimes not centered in barrel. Sold cheap and you got what you paid for.

Mine was bored so far off center you could see it looking at the muzzle. Shot six feet right at 100 yards. Last thing I EVER bought from Numrich.

Back in the 70s I ordered a long 45 blank with the idea of getting 2 barrels out of it for a ML double. On one end the bore was nearly out the side. No thanks.
