	MVA recommends block spacing for the 23 inch to be from 7.2 to 10.5. I used a 23" scope on 7.2 inch block spacing. However any wider spacing of the blocks makes each adjustment finer.

	Believe the 10.34" spacing matches with the marks around the staff/knob of the MVA elevation & windage adjustments. While the narrower spacing works, it results in one having to do the mental gymnastics for elevation or windage changes in the heat of battle. Far beyond my intellectual capabilities when trying to knock down five (5) animals in five (5) minutes. If shooting off the bench or BPTR where there are essentially no time limits, then pretty much any spacing will work.

	My first attempt at making a breach seater, while looking like it would work, doesn't make the cut. I have the geometry all wrong and it will not seat the bullet the last 1/4". Another attempt and I got it right. The first one I used cheep steel (1018 I think) and I don't think it will hold up. My second try I used O1 tool steel. After shaping the parts I used my Weber Grill to harden the parts and an old toaster oven to draw the temper at 550 deg. for 1 hour. Brownell's Oxpho Blue colored the parts. A piece of hard maple I had on hand and a 1/2" copper water pipe connecter completed the handle. I CAN NOT take credit for the design. I have two Russ Weber breach seaters that I copied. I can now see why Mr. Weber charger what he does for them. Attached are two pictures . One is my breach seated next to one of Russ's and the other picture is my breach seater in the rifle.
