Hi y'all
I have an old Danish Remington 1867 converted into 45-70 and I have been looking for a mould for the original bullet for it, there were a Danish mould maker that did make them but he passed away some years ago but I have managed to get some of the original bullets.

I used to by my moulds from Poul Jones but as everyone knows he stopped his work some years ago so my question is WHO shall I turn to, to make a mould for an exact copy of the bullets I have ??

In my  Swedish Sporter Rolling block 8x58R I use a Paul Jones 235 grain spitzer.

To duplicate the bullet you can send it to a number of different custom bullet makers to have the mould duplicated:

This is not directly responsive to OP's question, forgive me.

Once upon a time, I had a very nice 1867 Danish RB that had undergone the "45-70 treatment" at the hands of an American importer.

My bullet of choice was the 400 grain bullet originally designed for the trapdoor carbines cast from a Lyman 457193 mould that is apparently still available from Amazon at a reasonable price.

Gent, thanks for your help, I have contacted Brooks så I will wate for his answer.

I have tried to shoot it with PJ Postal 500 gr. but the twist do not mach this so it went all over the target at 100 meter, it worked much better with the original smaller bullet which is about 400 grains and hollow base.
