Does anyone know who W.H. Wolf is, or was? This is his mark on a Ballard barrel. Second picture is the bottom flat of the same barrel.
The J.W.K. on the bottom flat I believe was the owner of the rifle at one time as there's a piece of tape on the stock with J. Kellam written on it. Any info on him would be welcome also.

Its probably Werner Wolf. I think he lives in either Montana or Wyoming.
Someone from the Butte gun club should know his address.
My son-[n-law has a re de capper that he made. very much like the CPA re de capper. Very high quality.

If it's Werner, Hamilton Mt. would be a good place to start looking. Pat Bowland (406-363-2741) would probably know how to contact him.

Jerry if you can find out who has Ken Bresiens records the serial number on the barrel should lead you straight to the owner of that barrel. Maybe someone here knows where Ken's records are and why I brought it up.

Here is a re-de capper from an ASSRA auction twenty five or more years ago. It was listed as a Werner Wolf tool.

Louis, very close to mine. My tool is .45 cal. and the tail will round out a case mouth. Is yours .32 and the tapered tail would do .32-40 and 38-55? Now to locate Mr. Wolf.

Tom mine is indeed now for the 32-40 but the de-capping rod has also been turned and replaced to fit my own needs. I only gave around $30.00 dollars for it and I now need to go find the original rod I set aside to see if it does what you have now mentioned?

Joe if he is the gentleman on the far right in the bottom picture standing up what action is on his rifle I cannot see it clearly enough to really tell?
