Help,I would like the breech and muzzle dia. for #5 and #4 round and oct. 30" barrels on 1885 win rifle Also is there a tool for coil main spring removel. Thanks for any help.Bob Roll Eyes

John Campbell in his book on the 1885 states the dimensions vary somewhat and gives the dimensions for either octagon, half-octagon, or round barrels.

For 30"       #4 barrel: width at receiver - 1.12"     width at muzzle -1.08"
                 #5 barrel:                             1.16"                              1.12" 

Hope this helps. Don't know about the removal tool.
