I’ve been shooting the NOE 32 caliber French bullet for a couple years. It can be had in three different sizes 321-323-325 which is important if you have a barrel needing a larger size. The jones bullet is NOT the end-all in bullet moulds it’s just another good one.  Ledball

How much of an advantage at 200 yds. is a spitzer bullet over a bullet with a small meplat like on the Accurate molds?

JS really none and maybe less but there are those who think they can still beat the wind instead of learning how to shoot it and it is those folks who have no real intentions of ever becoming a skilled marksman in regards to the true meaning of the word. Example how long did it take to better CW Roland's accomplishments using a per-say Pope style flat nosed bullet and basically the same bullet design I used to set the new ASSRA Bartlett record with back in 2013. I went through five bullet designs during the year I was working up to going for it and mostly all spitzer's but the FN was the most consistent of them all. Even though it was a bit more sensitive to the conditions it is also the one I used after countless hours spent with it at the range learning exactly how it behaved in all of the various conditions for what little that might be worth.

Tell us, JL, what nose shape you you use in your 28 cal?

All I have to say, is the PJ spitzers are the most prominent bullets used at the top of the standing, at major matches.

Tommy Mason, Rick McHale and Dave Patterson, are just a few of the PJ spitzer users at Raton, that have won the BR aggregate. All, also use the RKS barrel with the PJ bullet.

Sure other bullets have won matches but, the PJ spitzers are in the forefront and have the highest resale value.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Not sure there was any deliberate attempt to exclude NOE Frank. They simply didn't cross my mind. That's what happens as I get older.
