Schuetzen Bob when did the name change fom the San Diego Mafia to the Bereavement Group happen to take place? Nice picture of the group and I sure do miss you folks from coming down for our Regional. And a nicer group of folks to compete with would be hard pressed to come by for those who might not know.

At the awards dinner we had a small ceremony commerating Russ Hook's being our San Diego Schutzenmeister for the past 40 years. Russ has now retired "schutzenmeister emeritus," although he still shoots with us. You'll have to ask Robert Rez about the San Diego Mafia, the Schuetzen Bereavement Society was the brainchild of Pete Robson, Glenn Goodwill, Mike Christopher, and a few others at Gem Ranch "#1 funerals attended #2 widows comforted #3 rifles disposed of at no charge."  Undecided

Seventeen of the best looking Schuetzen Gentleman of the times one could ever hope to behold. But not as good looking as all of those Beautiful Rifles they are holding by a long shot and thanks for sharing the explanation for the current name change Bob.
