Didn't know they were selling the 1885 action. Never saw it on their website until the other day. I bought a scope from them a couple of months ago and never saw it then either. I wonder if they will make a Low Wall action as well. I thought about buying the C-Sharps Low Wall action but it doesn't have double set triggers.

The single set trigger on the C. Sharps Low Wall is really good.
I’m very happy with both of mine.

Yes, selling parts too.
I just returned from the NRA silhouette national. JC (owner, MVA) was there shooting and as always, had a booth set up. I was able to get new parts for two incomplete low wall actions. He makes as close as anyone can, Winchester factory specification interchangeable parts for the 1885 singleshot model. They have all parts to make the action. Everything.

Not only that, the prices are generally less than parted out ebay stuff. Sometimes tracking down an original part is the correct thing to do for a collector rifle, but when you just need some springs, pins, a sear and a knockoff, MVA is here to save us. And their prices are good.
Their websight has drawings and price list.

They've been selling actions and parts for a long time, but seems they weren't ready to add them to their web site. So it was a secret, sort of. The parts I got from them were very nicely made, and priced good too.

One of my buddies has an MVA action rifle built by Curt Hardcastle.
When I first met Sherman and he showed me this rifle I knew then he was man with great taste.
From what I’ve seen and experienced MVA is a top shelf operation with great customer service. They also give a lot back to our sport.
You cannot go wrong supporting MVA or C. Sharps.
