Need Help with rear sight identification

I thought Swedish but not sure now. It is marked with"R"
Any help would be appreciated.

Thinking it may be a rear sight off a Russian Moisin Nagant rifle but have been wrong before. The "R" may stand for Remington who did make some Moisins around the time of the first world war. Frank

Ken, dug out my 1935 Finn Moisin Nagant and compared rear sights. Outside of some modifications that were done by the Finns looks just like yours. Glad for once I got it right. Frank
