Well, we had near-perfect weather with blue skies, warm weather, and just enough wind to cut the mirage. My only regret is that more shooters weren't able to get out and enjoy it.
All of the shooters who came were more interested in shooting from the bench than in getting in any offhand, so results show 200 yd CF BR and 100 yd RF BR only. We had a total of 10 shooters, with 7 the first day and 4 leaving after Friday and 3 taking their place on Saturday. While your humble scribe registered for both days, I was busy running the match and ended the weekend without recording a single target, so here are the results from the other 9.
200 yd CF Bench Jim Rowe 241-3C
Dale Flinchum 238-2C
Jim Wertz 237-1C
J Stuart Mahler 231-1C
Tommy Howard 231-1C
Jim Wheeler 226-1C
Tim Kuntz 203-1C (with irons)
100 yd RF BR Tommy Howard 247-7C
Jim Wertz 247-7C
Jim Rowe 246-4C
J Stuart Mahler 243-4C
Ted Greer 240-3C
Jim Wheeler 239-0C
Jim Parker 236-2C
Tim Kuntz 228-0C
Like last year, we shared the Brushy Mountain Club facility with the Skeet shooters. As always BMC was a great host. Hope to see more of you back with us in the Fall (19 & 20 October) or if you've never made it, talk to somebody who has. I think you'll enjoy it here, but remember... "You must be present to attend!"
