So what? Irrelevant to my uses.

Why do you insist on screwing with a perfectly simple post the OP made here? Just because you use an A5 has little or nothing to do with his question of offset mounts. He never said his friend used a Win. A5 scope, so why muddle things up with what works for you?
It's not irrelevant to the OP's question.

Should you read your own and BP's posts, you will find that you and he are the ones "screwing up" the OP's thread.

How would letting a fellow (the OP) know that there is more than one option available to his friend for mounting a scope that may meet his friend's needs be considered screwing up the OP's thread?
Seems like knowing that additional options are available might increase the chances for the OP's friend to obtain a successful outcome.

So much self-serving BS! Steve Earlie makes it very clear in his descriptions of the two very different kinds of "offset mounts" he is selling. But, that was not enough for MG and you ........ you have to makes fusses to seem "relevant, knowledgeable, what ever". So Sad as your hero likes to say.

Grisen Henry,
How about providing the basic common courtesy to Mr. Earle by not constantly misspelling his last name, which does not contain the "i" that you have insisted on inserting into it numerous times during your various replies to this topic.
Mr. Earle has a very well-earned reputation for his excellent products, and for working with his customers.
I believe that the first time I personally heard his name mentioned was during a phone call from Gil way back when the Parsons Long Scope was being produced, concerning scope mount bases.
The OP has the contact information for Mr. Earle, and can discuss all the available options, cataloged or otherwise, to help assist his friend to come to an extremely well-advised decision regarding the issues that are mentioned in the first post to this topic.

Geeze! Sometime you even sound sorta reasonable, but then you go off and address a nonexistent individual.

Many here have known of Steve Earle for years and bought and been quite happy with his products and his response to orders, as I have been with each order. Glad to hear you seem to approve of him too, strange as that may seem.

Why would that seem strange to you, Grisen Henry?
Glad to see that you have finally managed to spell his name correctly, after having dealt with him for so many years.
