I got curious and looked up powder coating. It is polymer based, sounds like the same thing. Are the polymer/PC coating a good thing, I don't know. My only experience with the polymer is CCI Christmas ammo. In my S&W Victory it out shot 8 or 10 other brands/types by a good margin.
