6x condor with external adjustment. all unertl without numbers were hunting scopes. also tube scopes had no serial number.  vulture scopes also hunting scopes 8x and 10x 8 had internal adjustments calibrated head. 10 had external adjustments and calibrated head. your scope should have an overall length around 13 1/2"  thanks tom

I didn't know the Condor's were available with external mounts. Why is it not marked "Condor"? Shocked
The "Vulture" came both ways, internal and external.

My Remington marked scope was a 20x. It had a little over an inch eye relief.

Not at all custom by far and it was offered in their catalog unfortunately I gave mine to a friend or I would have posted a copy of what it was called.

The 10X Vulture in my '80s catalog looks very similar, except for the power.

Pulled out Stroebels book. Good general reference not absolute. Covered so much no way he could throughly research everything.

Falcon 2.75x Hawk 4x Condor 6x Vulture 8x & 10x detailed with no mention in the specs internal or external .
He has one paragraph that says “the Vulture Varmit/Target scope could be had with or without internal adjustments.  No mention of the others.

If we step back from specifics and reflect Unertl  was a small company and likely able to do anything with parts on hand.  Not difficult to build a External adjustment Vulture in 6x, does that make it a Condor with external adjustment or a Vulture with reduced power.  No matter it is what it is and probably a special order like the EBay seller says.

Opinion that’s changeable if hard facts come to light

In both 60s & 80s catalogs, that's the only model listed as AC/DC. Minor adjustment to reduce the power to 6X--doubt that a customer who requested it would have been asked to pay more than a trivial service charge, or none at all.
