Does anyone have tables at the annual CGCA show in Denver this weekend? It would be nice to be able to stop and say Hi to people you see post on the web.

They have a lot of great displays each year, not always the same ones. Anyone know where to find out what displays will be there this year?

The association website States the generic individual collectors associations and the NRA exhibit. I think attending is the only way to find  out what displays are there. But, I have never been disappointed with what I saw. A real class show.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Flatlander found me and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him! We had a nice visit, and I also got to meet other good guys from this forum! GT (Greg) and his son stopped by and we visited several times over the weekend, and had some good times.
Got together with oodmoff (Darin) who I've known for some time and met there a few years ago. We had fun looking and comparing notes!
Dale1885 was there with his son also, and a finer pair of guys would be hard to find! We walked the show some, and although I've known Dale through this forum for awhile, we hadn't met face to face. So I was happy we could visit and talk guns!
Chuckster (Chuck) and his lovely wife had myself and the other Oregonians over for a wonderful BBQ dinner! Not only was it great, but we were surprised by Chuck and his bride allowing us to view their collections, and Chuck's shop! The whole evening was a highlight none of us will ever forget! Thanks Chuck!

Always a great show, but the good folks who were so nice to meet really put it over the top! Getting a couple more Ballard Schuetzen rifles didn't hurt either!

Friends are indeed very precious and it's great to hear you have now found yet more Val. Chuck's shop had to be one of the real highlights and his work proves it to be so.  Hummm guess we just have wait to hear about all the new good news about the Ballards so don't fiddle faddle around to much before heading home.

orville loomer reports seeing original 32/40 pp scheutzen bullets there.
there exists a picture of milton farrow's loading kit with what appears to be a breech seater and 32 cal pp bullets.
more grist to the mill of history.
keep safe,
bruce.
