Any interest in a Cincinnati shoot?
May 15th, 2018 at 12:23am

Just as the title states, me and a few friends have been flirting with organizing a Cincy-area shoot, either informal or ASSRA sanctioned if their is enough interest. It would, at least for the time being, be on private land, probably later this summer. 200 yards, offhand. Probably centerfire & .22. Any takers?

Is Friendship's Walter Cline Range be in the "Cincy-area", or is that too expensive, too formal, or too something else?

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away..... ok back in the 90's I lived in Cincy and went out to a range somewhere nearby that had a 600 (1000)yd range.  they were having a buffalo silhouette shoot and it was the first time I shot a Hepburn and you never forget your first time!  I think is was Miami rifle & Pistol??  that could be a possibility if you don't have a range picked yet.    Hope this works out,

If the range is East of Cinci that is within 'reasonable' driving (4hrs) for me.

I can't hit **** offhand, but if it's that close to me I'll be there to miss.

I’d be interested. As the other guy said. I am mostly a bench and prone shooter, but I can shoot poorly offhand with the best of them

I've missed the target many times offhand. Maybe I could miss a few more.

I'm not that close - but from the far eastern edge of Ohio, Cincy is just enough closer to me than Friendship that I would make the effort if the date works out.

You haven't let the cat out of the bag yet as to what range you will be using... but I occasionally come up to Hamilton, OH to visit Dale53.  He no longer can shoot in rifle events, but maybe he would come cheer me on.
