I just heard that Captech International has closed its doors to "reorganize". I have been trying to contact them as I have some new 45-110 brass and need to know if it needs annealed before loading. I will be using Black Powder ONLY,,,,I also already primed the 100 cases,,, Thanks, Ed

Haven't been able to get anyone to answer the phone at Captech/Jamison  for over 4 months. I'm not sure how you go through reorganization and survive without keeping the phones manned.

That brass doesn't need annealing before using the first time. All their brass was annealed in the manufacturing process.

Youbecha Longknife.
It's a shame they are having to regroup, their brass is pretty good stuff. I just got a batch of brand new 2 7/8 brass with the JBA head stamp, and have another batch on the way with the older Jamison stamp. Going to prep some of the JBA this afternoon and see how it compares in volume with Norma and the older BACO reformed 348. I've been loading 108 gr. of OE 1f in those cases.

105 gr of OE 1f is all that will fit in these cases. Now just need some cooperation from the weather to see how they shoot.

Hopefully the weather plays nice sometime in the next week or so and I can get some of these loads proved out at 1000 yards.
