Smokeless Loads for 38-55 with 345 grain bullet

Want to do some load testing with smokeless for a Winchester 1885 Highwall with 15 twist green mountain barrel. Have a Brooks mould for a 345 grain bullet. Have only seen data for 250 grain bullets published. I do have some H4198, H4895 and Reloader 7 on the shelf. Any recommendations on accurate loads? Thanks in advance.

I'm getting good results with the 330 Lyman bullet over 17 or 18 grains H4198. Lyman regular reloading manuals and cast bullet manuals have useful data for you. Sadly they are not available on line for free.

15.5 grns of IMR 4227 works good with fixed loads and 16.5 grns for the same bullet breach seated.

Thanks .. I have a Lyman manual and it only has loads for 255 gr and 249 gr bullets. Will start with 17 grains of H4198.

I load a .38-55 for my wife with 360 grain bullet.  Load is 24 grains IMR4198 for 1375 velocity.  Here's a link to another thread on heavy bullet .38-55 loads:
