In a 38-55 what would you consider a fast twist Vall ? 1:14 ?

My Browning Traditional Hunter 38-55 has a 1-15" twist and shoots that bullet very well.

Every now and again I think I'll give my NASA from Bernie at Old West a try in BPCR.   Not sure how they compare in length but the NASA is 330gr and shoots lights out in my 38-55 with a 15 twist.   Now did I cast that last batch with WW or 16:1.  This one here looks like 20:1 would do just fine.

Best Regards,
John

Typical original .38-55's had 1:20" or 1:21" twist rates. I'd consider 1:16 or less as fast twist in this caliber.
