I didnt hunt much this season did not want to mess up my grandson spot.i finally went right after Christmas and had not been on stand about twenty minutes when a spike walked out at about 200yds. One shot with my browning hi-wall 45-70 ,300 grain and the rest is history. At the shot he turned a backward flip went ten steps and down. Shot thru and thru, shot a little high and no blood trail,just dead. You just can’t beat a 45-70.
