Our Schuetzenmeister Jerry Cleave's report.

A rather cool and murky day at the Hutchison Range for our Annual Quarter Bore Match.  Add cold wind to the equation, and some of us had problems on the bench targets.  There was also a very weird condition by the third relay when we were shooting the Offhand Iron that made the bull almost impossible to see through the sights.  Maybe the angle of the sun on the targets, but note that none of us were able to overcome it in the scoring!

Steve Stewart experienced a broken firing pin on the first relay which put him out of action, though he did borrow Rich's rifle for the King Match.

Speaking of which: Rich Davis, last year's winner, furnished a great holiday themed target which was won by Jerry Hartwig.  Rich also furnished his derby to be worn by the winner. Looks like a member of the Wild Bunch to me.....

It should be obvious that Rich$ (PORK AND BEANS) and I wear a different size hat. Thanks for the great target Rich$.

It was nice that all hit the King Target and no demolition of the frame (100 year barn wood). Next time Schuetzenmeister, for our December Match, please serve hot chocolate. Congratulation to Jerry H.

Congratulations Jerry!
From my point of view, you are all the winners for the camaraderie you share with all of us on the forum. Thanks, congratulations and Merry Christmas.
