John Boy,

Does that outfit also have the 299152 for the 32 Short, or the 299154 for the 32 ExL, or the 299155 for the inside lubed 32 ?

BP - No they don't.  The only 32 RF bullets listed are .316 with no weight given
The original Ideal bullet dimensions:
299152 - .318 - 80gr - from No 4 Tong Tool only
299154 - .315 - 105gr
299155 - .299 - 80gr
Buffalo Arms has a .313 mold, 84gr for "32 Long/Short Colt Heel Base" that is single GG not double - $185.  If one wanted th 299154, the mold could be 'beagled' for diameter and weight from a 299153 mold, No 4 Tong or custom made
299155 - is a SOL bullet and mold unless one has it for sale or cloned ... ie, Pioneer Molds or Brooks

I am the one who sells the 299153 bullets on GunBroker.  I do have the 29152 and 299154 moulds but don't list the bullets for a variety of reasons.  I have tooling for converting the 32 Long Colt cases I make to take a 22RF blank so they will work in rimfires, but haven't made any cases yet.  Too busy or too lazy or something.

As I understand t, HLEbooks is in France. If they are shipping these components to the USA to individuals, does that not make the individual an "importer"? Does anyone know the legal implications of this in regard to the various laws of our land (ITAR, BATF, Homeland Security etc.)? I'm sure HLEbooks, being outside the jurisdiction of our law, will just say, "Cie' la Gerre" if somebody gets busted, but where does that leave those of us on this side of the pond if our Govt. decides to prosecute one of us? I shoot a lot of .32 rimfires, reload them every way I can using different methods and components but I ain't takin' a chance on importing controlled components. Maybe I am wrong and they are shipping from a stateside address, if so, I would like to know.
thanks,
kootne

John Boy, thanks for the link. I read it and it seems to apply to export, not import. Don't know if different rules apply when stuff is coming in. Also, the fine print specifically excludes ammunition and components from exemption. Maybe this HLEbooks operation is legit, however, I am still being cautious. But thanks again, I was surprised any thing could go out from John Q. Public.
